Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Associate

MilkMate believes that working mothers should never have to choose between family and a professional career due to breastfeeding and pumping challenges in the workplace.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles all FP&A for the Company
• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting
  data; preparing reports and providing recommendations
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information, paying bills and managing vendor control/collection
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet,
  profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Ability to build investor decks for business updates and potential future funding rounds

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of investment banking experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting field is preferred
• Ability to model, interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Understanding of GAAP Principles

This role is based in Manhattan, NY, and MilkMate has a 3 days in/2 days work remote schedule.
